Cheer Tumbling Classes
Placement in classes is decided by skill level during a free trial class. Simply call Gym South and we will make an appointment for you in one of our regularly scheduled trial classes. Our trial classes give you a chance to see if you like the gym, and allow us to place you in the class that will be most beneficial to your level. Call today!
Youth Tumbling/Tumbling I
Youth Tumbling/Tumbling I classes are one hour long, beginning level cheer classes. They focus on basic tumbling such as cartwheels, round-offs, forward and backward rolls (these are important - don't laugh), and drills for back hand springs. Tumbling II
Tumbling II classes are one hour long, intermediate level cheer classes. They rely on the foundations learned in Tumbling I classes. Tumbling II classes focus on perfecting the round-off (it's more important than you think), working on spotted round-off back handsprings, and standing back handsprings. Tumbling III
Tumbling III classes are one hour long, advanced level cheer classes. They rely on the foundations and progression learned in the Tumbling I and Tumbling II classes. These classes start by perfecting standing back handsprings and round-off back handsprings without spot. They continue through to round-off back tucks, round-off back handspring back tucks, and standing back tucks. Free trial evaluation class available, click link to view schedule. Tumbling IV
Tumbling IV classes are one hour long, advanced level cheer classes. These classes focus on perfecting round-off back handspring back tucks without a spot and advancing to elite level tumbling.
